It’s been a great week for Chained Saint and their guitarist Ethan Kahn, as the 19-year-old musician joined Sepultura onstage on Sunday (Oct. 11) just two days after the band issued their new EP, Rise to Fall.
The guitarist was on hand at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City where he got to join Sepultura for a performance of “Propaganda” during their farewell tour run. This is also a precursor of things to come as the guitarist has been invited to join Sepultura in Brazil for their final performance in Nov. 7, so the guitarist will pack up and head to Sao Paulo immediately after returning from Chained Saint’s Headbangers Boat appearance.

Chained Saint Turn Up the Intensity on ‘Rise to Fall’ EP
As previously stated, these are the best of times for Chained Saint, who are currently celebrating the release of their new five-song EP, Rise to Fall, which arrived on Oct. 9 via Patriark Records.
Rise to Fall is a blistering five-track statement from a young band rapidly coming into its own. Built on classic thrash, the new EP sees Chained Saint pushing further into hardcore aggression, punishing grooves and razor-sharp songwriting.
From “Snakeskin” and “Drive” to the explosive 1:52 fury of “Punk,” the EP rarely lets up. “Uncrowned,” the band’s first song with lyrics entirely written by singer Sean Sterling, brings a defiant, anthemic edge, while the riff-driven title track closes the record with authority.
The EP also saw the group self-producing alongside Rob Roy at Power Station Studios.
Spotify recently picked up “Snakeskin” for All New Metal, “Punk” on New Blood and “Uncrowned” for their New Music Friday playlists. Apple Music has been hyping the group on their Best New Songs and New In Metal playlists and SiriusXM’s Liquid Metal has been pumping “Snakeskin” on the airwaves while recently adding “Uncrowned” as well.
This comes as the band has been steadily building their name on tour in the Europe and U.K. while supporting Slaughter to Prevail and making appearances at Bloodstock, Alcatraz, Leyendas del Rock and the Dynamo Metalfest. Stateside, they also recently turned heads at Louder Than Life in Louisville back in September.
