JetBlue is raising bag fees again.

For travelers in economy, the cost of checking a bag is now $50, up from $45, if purchased more than 24 hours before departure, according to its website. Bags checked in within 24 hours of departure will cost $60. During peak periods, checked bags will cost $55, up from $49, and a bag checked in less than 24 hours before departure will cost $70.

The carrier is the first in the U.S. to raise baggage fees twice in 2026 as surging fuel costs wipe out much of the airline industry’s profits.
