Now that Season 12 of 90 Day Fiancé has officially come to a close, and we’ve been able to reflect on the season as a whole, it’s about time we reveal where it stands among the best (and worst!) seasons of the series.
Since Season 1, 90 Day Fiancé has followed couples in which one partner is moving to the United States from abroad to live with their fiancé for 90 days on the K-1 visa, before deciding to get married or head home for good. As viewers have seen this season alone, this decision is based on much more than just love. Families, friends, politics, religions, cultural norms, and more all stand between these couples and the end of the aisle. For many 90 Day Fiancé viewers, this drama is what keeps us coming back for more.

Let’s face it, there is not a bad season of 90 Day Fiancé, so honestly, it was really hard to pick a season to rank lowest on our list. Seeing as Season 3 was all about the romance and less about the drama, we decided to put this one in our last slot. That said, it’s still definitely worth the watch.

Season 9 saw plenty of beloved 90 Day stars’ franchise debuts, but we have to admit, nothing too interesting happened during the season. That said, the season lives on with both Kara and Guillermo, as well as and Patrick and Thaís, who are currently starring on 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 3.

Much like Seasons 3 and 9, Season 5 of 90 Day Fiancé introduced viewers to fan favorites — Elizabeth and Andrei, and David and Annie — without featuring too many memorable storylines.

Season 1 started it all with just four couples, all of which featured women traveling to the States to marry an American man. As of 2026, every one of these couples are still together, so you know that 90 Day Fiancé was doing something right picking this crew. Russ and Paola even starred on the spinoff 90 Day: The Last Resort this year, so it’s clear that the 90 Day inaugural class left their mark on the franchise.

From Anna and Mursel bonding over beekeeping despite not speaking the same language to Tania making Syngin live in her unfinished she-shed, this season had some really wild moments. That said, while couples like Angela and Michael will go down in 90 Day history, not all the couples were as memorable as others.

Season 2 is where 90 Day Fiancé really found it’s groove, introducing couples like Danielle and Mohamed who made us question everything we knew about K-1 visa romance. For some of these couples we were quite literally “waiting ’til the day of the wedding to decide” whether we thought they’d tie the knot or fly home. Plus, this season introduced the infamous Tell All finales we know and love today.

Sure, this wasn’t Jasmine and Gino’s first season in the franchise, but anything those now-exes touched will always rank high in our book. Season 10 included quite a few fan-favorites, like Sophie Sierra, Rob Warne, and Nikki Exotika who went on to explore their single eras in the franchise on 90 Day: Hunt for Love, 90 Day: The Single Life, and more.

The most recent season of 90 Day Fiancé did not disappoint, introducing cast members like Debby and Mido, who share one of the wildest (prank-filled) dynamics we’ve seen so far, and Marissa and Edward, who had everyone talking about their opposites attract romance. While we’ve seen more drama in other seasons, these are seven couples we won’t soon forget.

Season 11 of 90 Day Fiancé was all drama from beginning to end, featuring one of the most messy Tell Alls in recent 90 Day history, which even got the least dramatic couple to start an argument with one of the guests. Plus, this season featured the franchise’s first ever throuple… Need we say more?

After all, “Who is against the queen will die!” That said, all the couples this season were absolutely fascinating. From Kalani’s family drama to Jonathan and Fernanda’s age-gap controversy, there were no weak links.

Speaking of strong couples, Season 8 delivered on many pairs that have remained fan-favorites. This season was all about family drama, namely that of Brandon and Julia, who had to follow strict house rules living at his parents’ house — including the fact that they couldn’t wear clothes in the hot tub. Today, Rebecca and Zied are starring on 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 3.

Sorry, TLC, you’re going to have a really hard time beating this one. From Chantel and Pedro famously hiding their engagement from her family until days before their wedding to Anfisa smashing Jorge’s phone and keying “idiot” into his car for a less than solid reason, no other season can compete with this drama. If you’re looking for a great season to dive into the franchise for the first time, Season 4 is for you!
