Jamal is a long-time 90 Day Fiancé star from San Diego, California. He has previously appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 5, when his mom, Kim, was dating Usman Umar, a.k.a. Sojaboy. Jamal later joined Kim on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 7 and 90 Day: The Single Life Seasons 3 and 5. During Season 4 of The Single Life, he explored his own relationship on the show for the first time.

According to his LinkedIn, Jamal is a legal assistant with a degree in political science and government from Virginia Commonwealth University.

During Season 4 of The Single Life, Jamal dated Veronica Rodriguez. Veronica joined the franchise with her ex-fiancé, Tim Malcolm. Today, Veronica is engaged to Seth Daryoushfar. Jamal has also revealed that he previously hooked up with Liz Woods, one of his mom’s close friends and fellow franchise alums.

Jamal joined the franchise with his mom, Kim, a long-time franchise favorite. She revealed in 2024 that she started a job at Sycuan Casino Resort as the Hotel and Retail Supervisor at Spa Ritual. According to the NWSL, which honored Kim as an honorary Wavemaker for the San Diego Waves’ Military Appreciation Match, “Menzies was only 19 when she joined the Army as an administrative specialist in 1989 and served in Operation Desert Storm. She was active in the military until 1996, after her son, Jamal, was born.”
Does Jamal Menzies have siblings?
Jamal was raised as an only child. However, during the most recent season of 90 Day: The Single Life, Kim revealed that she had two other children with Jamal’s dad (whom she is no longer with) during their time in the military. Both of Jamal’s siblings are older than him and were given up for adoption when they were born. At the time, Jamal did not know about his siblings.
During the season, Jamal reunited with his older brother, Larry, and met Larry’s wife and kids. Jamal also has an older sister whom he has yet to meet. In a recent social media post, Jamal shared, “I’m grateful to be an uncle and a little brother. Im still processing, but I understand to never question Gods timing. It’s been a challenging journey but I’m thankful for everyone who has shown support and continues to do so.”
