Five years ago, Jedediah Bila ended her television career by leaving her position as the weekend anchor for Fox & Friends. The former news host joined Fox News as a contributor in 2013, and after a brief exit when she served as a panelist on The View in 2016 and 2017, she returned in 2018 and booked the weekend gig the following year.

What is Jedediah Bila doing now?
Today, Bila is host of The Jedediah Bila Show podcast. According to her YouTube page, the podcast covers “dating, marriage, friendship, health, and so much more” with “a mix of reaction content and incredible guests.”
Bila launched her podcast in 2022 as Jedediah Bila LIVE. She hosted it for a year before taking a break and coming back with the revamped, current version in 2025. The new podcast asks “the tough questions many are afraid to ask and [challenges] the talking points of the powers-that-be.”
Per her website, Bila currently lives in Texas where she loves “embracing nature” with her family. “She thrives on home-cooked food, lots of sunshine, fresh air, a good night’s sleep, and the taste of freedom,” her bio states.
Why did Jedediah Bila leave Fox News?
Fox News announced Bila’s departure from the network in May 2021 with a brief statement: “We have mutually and amicably parted ways with Jedediah Bila and wish her all the best.”
Bila said, “Thank you to the Fox News reporters, anchors, contributors, and producers who have been an absolute pleasure to work with these last few years. To the viewers who supported me throughout my journey there — I’m deeply grateful for you and hopeful you’ll join me on my next adventure. I’m really excited for what’s to come.”
During her time on Fox & Friends, Bila was often critical of Donald Trump, including when she stated it was “incumbent upon” him to acknowledge that he lost the 2020 presidential election to Joe Biden.
While no details were given for the reason behind Bila’s Fox News exit, her Instagram bio currently alleges that she was “fired by corporate media for telling the truth-and damn proud of it.”
Why did Jedediah Bila leave The View?
Bila joined The View in August 2016 and was the conservative voice on the show for one season before announcing her exit in September 2017. She seemingly left the show on good terms with her cohosts, saying in her final episode, “What you don’t know about us, these ladies, we’re friends. Sunny [Hostin’s] texts, Sara [Haines], Whoopi [Goldberg], you’re my inspiration. Joy [Behar], when I need comedic relief, this is where I go. So we’re going to be friends no matter what. ”
Execs also sent a memo to staffers in which they called Bila “a spirited voice at the table” and noted that she’ll “always be part of The View family.”

Shortly after Bila’s exit, Page Six reported that the way she handled an interview with Hillary Clinton in September 2017 upset staffers at the talk show, but a rep responded, “Jed asked good questions during that interview, and the producers were really pleased with how she handled it.” Page Six’s source said that Bila left the show “on her own accord,” alleging, “There were some things making her uncomfortable behind the scenes, but she loves the cast.”
In her website bio, Bila claims she was “fired twice from corporate media” for “[telling] the truth,” seemingly alleging that her exits from both The View and Fox News were not her own decision.
When Bila returned to The View as a guest in 2021, she revealed that she had not received the COVID-19 vaccine and said she was against vaccine mandates, which prompted outcry from her former cohosts. She later spoke out about the situation and said she felt like the discussion was a “cheap shot” against her.
“It’s very confusing to me, to be quite frank,” Bila said, per Decider. “I did a full pre-interview with them where I talked about how I felt about the mandates. I’ve also been incredibly public. I’ve been tweeting about it. I’ve been voicing the fact that I’m not vaccinated, that I had COVID-19 already and I have this sky-high immunity I’ve been watching for the past year.”
Is Jedediah Bila married?
Yes, Bila has been married to her husband, Jeremy Scher, a strategic publishing analyst, since 2018. Their son, Hartley, was born in 2019.
