Emirates Plans Private Bathrooms in First-Class Suites

Emirates is planning to add en-suite bathrooms in its first-class cabins, the airline’s president Sir Tim Clark has announced.

“I’m working on en-suite bathrooms in first class suites,” he said Thursday via a video call at the CAPA Airline Leader Summit in Berlin. “I want everybody to hear that, so everyone rushes out the door to find out how they can get bathrooms into first-class suites.”

However, he did not give a timeline on when the product would be delivered. Emirates told Skift  it has no further comment to add.

Should this comment turn into reality one day soon, it would be the latest in a long line of bathroom developments Emirates have brought to premium cabins.

Emirates, among the first airlines to offer fully enclosed private suites, added onboard shower spas on A380s in 2008.
