VIZ Media has announced the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Season 2 release date. The series is set to premiere on Hulu next month.

When is the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War release date?

The Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War release date has been set for July 8, 2023, when it returns to Hulu in the U.S., Star+ in Latin America, and Disney+ in select countries internationally.

The first episode of Season 2 will appear on the streaming platforms at 7:30 a.m. PDT. The simulcast for Part 2 will have English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, and Italian subtitles.

The Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War anime adaptation premiered in October 2022 as part of the fall anime season’s line-up. Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War covers the final story arc of the Bleach manga. Studio Pierrot is producing the adaptation; the studio also produced the 16 previous seasons of Bleach, which aired from October 2004 to March 2012.

Bleach is an award-winning manga series created by Tite Kubo. Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump serialized the manga from August 2001 to August 2016. Bleach has gained worldwide recognition through the years, and is one of the best-selling manga in history. It spawned an entire media franchise that includes films, video games, musicals, a live-action movie adaptation, and a plethora of merchandise.

Bleach follows the story of Ichigo Kurosaki, who gains supernatural powers after Rukia Kuchiki passes her abilities to him. Ichigo must now help out with defeating Hollows and other Soul Reaper duties while balancing his responsibilities as a high school student.
