Actor Spotlight: Fatima Camacho Taking Hollywood By Storm

Argentinian born actress Fatima Camacho started acting at an early age. Attending the music theater school Superstars, she studied music, acting and dancing. Upon graduating high school, she moved to Buenos Aires where she took theater acting and directing classes and worked on plays by Chekhov, Brecht and original plays by local writers.

Realizing that she wanted to be a film actor, she moved to Los Angeles to study acting at the New York Film Academy. She studied with coaches Riley Steiner, Miraj Grbic, Dig Wayne and many others. She also took classes at the Stella Adler Acting Studio.

Since her arrival in LA, Fatima has worked in many short films, music videos and commercials. She has starred in two music videos, “Show Me Your Love” by artist Matthew James and “Smile- You’re Beautiful” for singer Lovely Kaur. She also had a role in the feature role in the movie “Candy Flip”, produced by David Lipper. The film starred Matt Rife, Jessica Belkin and Danny Trejo. She also was featured in the new Johnny Knoxville film “Sweet Dreams.”

She recently completed two short films, “Embrace” which will be making the film festival circuit shortly and “Re/Vision” where she portrays a time traveler in the future apocalyptic film. She also can be seen in commercials for Tesla, the Indian jewelry brand Bhindi and a Vintage Car Collector Company. She is currently in pre-production for the short film “Abysmal Thoughts” about how humans seek acceptance from others as opposed to being themselves and is also working in the play “Slippery Knot” which will be presented at the Whitmore Theater in Hollywood, California in April of 2023.
