Consumers, enterprises and governments will benefit greatly as 5G networks and Multi-Access Edge Computing (or MEC, formerly known as Mobile Edge Computing) capabilities are deployed over the next decade.

In this position paper, we consider the vital role location intelligence plays in a 5G MEC world – from building out the infrastructure to enabling a new generation of use cases across industries in both enterprise and consumer.
