Meet Stephanie Thomas, an adaptive fashion trailblazer

Stephanie Thomas is an advocate and trailblazer for inclusion in fashion. As a stylist, speaker and consultant, she has dedicated her work to making fashion more accessible as a disability stylist. Thomas is the founder of Cur8able, a platform that features content that addresses the fashion needs of people living with disabilities and raises awareness for this underserved market. Thomas, who has given a TEDx talk and made the Business of Fashion‘s list of 500 people shaping the industry last year, is a power player in the fashion industry.

Canadian brands showed their support for the Black Lives Matter movement

Brands across the country voiced and showed their support for the Black Lives Matter movement in various forms over the past week. Companies like Mejuri, Mary Young, Tanya Taylor and Deciem pledged donations to organizations supporting the movement on social media. While social media support and monetary contributions don’t solve the issues of systemic racism, voices raised continue to promote change.
