Tanya Taylor launched a swim collection with Summersalt

Tanya Taylor, makes a splash with her first ever swimwear collection in collaboration with sustainable bathing suit brand, Summersalt. The new collection of five swimsuits and a wrap skirt will be available in sizes 2 to 22 all in a signature Tanya Taylor hand-painted print. The Italian-made fabric used in the “Brushstroke Collection” is produced from fishing nets removed from the ocean. “It has been a goal of mine to bring our colourful confidence and high energy happiness to swimwear for a long time. It can be an overwhelming and vulnerable experience for many women to bare their bodies and I wanted to work with Summersalt because their dedication to quality and fit make women feel their best,” says the Canadian designer. The cheerful collection is available now on both brand’s websites.

Canada Goose released its Spring 2020 Branta collection

Canada Goose‘s first ever spring BRANTA collection is a partnership with Brooklyn-based light artist, James Clar. The five-piece collection of rainwear and light down is made with function, durability and layering in mind. The elevated collection demonstrates Canada Goose’s ability to mesh art, design and technology. With standout reflective details and strong shapes this collection is ready for the unpredictable elements ahead. With the illuminated reflective stripes these pieces will be easily spotted even while social distancing. The collection will be available online and in select Canada Goose store as of May 21st.

Adidas celebrated the 4oth Anniversary of Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope with a new collection

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope Adidas is releasing a special collection from which all proceeds will be donated to The Terry Fox Foundation. The collection includes seven different t-shirts, the Orion shoe Fox wore in 1980 and a pair of Ultraboots DNA’s that have been designed as a shoe Fox would wear if he was to embark on his journey today. The t-shirts feature famous quotes and images of Fox and the tissue wrapping the re-released Orians is printed with a letter Fox wrote to Adidas. The first drop of products will take place on May 20th and the brand hopes to raise $1 million over the next six months. Followers and Canadian athletes like Connor McDavid and Tessa Virtue are encouraged to share what Terry Fox means to them on social media using #ThanksTerry.
