People Magazine has named John Krasinski as its Sexiest Man Alive for 2024.

The 45-year-old actor, producer and director’s selection was revealed on Tuesday during The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Krasinski is most known for his iconic role as Jim on The Office, as well as A Quiet Place, A Quiet Place Part II, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan and more. He takes the title from Patrick Dempsey.

During this show, Stephen Colbert surprised the audience by bringing out Krasinski. However, the host was seemingly a bit sad that he wasn’t named Sexiest Man Alive this year.

“Stephen, it’s OK. All right, you’re not the sexiest man alive but who cares? Who is, except for me apparently,” Krasinski quips. Colbert then admits he’s jealous and wishes he could be as sexy as The Office alum.

“Stephen, you can,” Krasinski responds. “You just have to follow the same six-step process that
I did.” Colbert asks, “Are you saying there’s a program you can follow?”

“There sure is. In fact, I even made an instructional video,” the actor adds before tossing to a fake infomercial on how to be sexy, which according to Krasinski includes not eating junk food, only eating water and raw egg yolks, stealing sexy DNA (from 2022’s People’s Sexiest Man Alive Chris Evans specifically), extracting sexy DNA and sexy-ercising.

Then after undergoing an “agonizing sexy transformation,” Colbert seemingly transforms into Evans. “I feel amazing! I feel like the Sexiest Man Alive,” Evans says but in Colbert’s voice. Krasinski adds, “Sure, maybe in 2022 but this year it’s me.”

Krasinski is married to Emily Blunt, with whom he shares two daughters, Hazel and Violet.
