Tennis fans staying at the beachfront Hacienda del Mar were treated to daily sightings of some of the world’s best tennis playing athletes during the Los Cabos Mifel Tennis Open by Telcel Oppo 2023.
Some of the world’s top 30 players including Greek Tennis God Stefanos Tsitsipas played at the Cabo Sports Complex on July 31 through August 5. Rakish Russian Karen Khachanov (No.11), Brawny British Cameron Norrie (No.13), Athletic Australian Alex de Minaur (No.16) and Advancing American Tommie Paul (No.17) joined American John Isner for the seventh edition of the ATP 250 in Los Cabos.
The Mifel Tennis Open was established in 2016, and past tournament winners include Diego Schwartzman, Cameron Norrie, Juan Martin del Potro and Daniil Medvedev.
The 2023 event welcomed 30,000 fans who enjoyed many recreational activities during the day at the Hacienda Del Mar, a Marriott Los Cabos Autograph Collection Resort.

As a host resort for the tournament, guests enjoyed Sea of Cortez views, along with a range of relaxing and refreshing amenities, that includes 5 beautiful swimming pools. There are mosiac marine life pools inland with Venetian tiles, beachside infinity pools and a swim-up bar grotto pool.

In the early evening, The Mifel Tennis Open is known as the best tournament of the category in Latin America. Next year it will be held in February during cooler months, prior to the Telcel Mexican Open presented by HSBC in Acapulco.

One of the most popular pools during the day is the infinity pool overlooking the private beach. Guests listen to the music of waves crashing while watching sail boats and luxury yachts cruise along the coastline.
There are plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas for guests to feel the warmth of the sun, and seek shade.

Before the first tennis match begins at 6 p.m., visit Cactus SPA for a soothing massage or facial. The tranquil space provides a hot sauna, steam room, and relaxation room offering three different temperature pools. There is a cold plunge pool, warm spa pool and hot tub. Be sure to arrive 30 minutes early to enjoy the facilities before and after a treatment.
