Drake Bell Found Safe After Being Reported ‘Missing and Endangered’

UPDATE: The Daytona Beach Police Department has reported that as of 1:26 p.m. ET, Drake Bell is in contact with law enforcement and has been confirmed to be safe.


This morning, musician and Drake & Josh star Drake Bell was reported as missing by the Daytona Beach Police Department in a Facebook post.

The original report stated that Bell was last seen in a 2022 gray BMW, with the location and time being “potentially the area of Mainland High School on 4/12/2023 just before 9 p.m.” The Daytona Beach Police Department asked anyone with information as to Bell’s whereabouts to reach out to Detective Jayson Wallace at 386-671-5207.

Bell is most famous for his role as Drake in the Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh, which he starred in opposite Josh Peck and Miranda Cosgrove. The series ran for four seasons from 2004 to 2007 on Nickelodeon. Before that, he starred in The Amanda Show from 1999 to 2002, where he played numerous characters in the sketch comedy series.

In 2021, Bell received a sentence of two years’ probation and 200 hours community service for attempting to endanger children and a misdemeanor charge of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.
