Tales of the Jedi Season 2 is on the way as Star Wars director and producer Dave Filoni announced the news at Star Wars Celebration.

Details are currently sparse as it is unknown how many episodes the second season will run. All that is know is that it will once again air on Disney+. The news came during a Star Wars: The Clone Wars panel that Filoni took part in. “Tales of the Jedi was so fun the first time, I decided to do some more,” Filoni announced.

The first installment of Tales of the Jedi was released last year on October 26, 2022. The Disney+ series was six episodes, with three episodes focusing on Sith Lord Count Dooku, while the other three were all about Ahsoka’s journey.

Animated in a Clone Wars style, Tales of the Jedi featured the return of Qui-Gon Jinn, who was voiced by Liam Neeson. Other actors included Ashley Eckstein, Corey Burton, Janina Gavankar, T.C. Carson, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ian McDiarmid, Matt Lanter, Phil LaMarr, Clancy Brown, and more. Kevin Kiner, who composed the music for the Clone Wars series, Rebels, and The Bad Batch, composed the series’ score.

The series is created by executive producer Dave Filoni, with Carrie Beck and Athena Portillo serving as executive producers.
