The last time Skrillex solo headlined Red Rocks in Colorado was in 2014 during his Mothership tour in support of his album Recess. Now, nine years later, after releasing two albums last month and having the commercially most successful period in his career thus far, he’s announced he’s returning.
This is no typical Red Rocks show, however, as there are no openers — there are no other performers, at all, in fact. From door time at 7pm until the end at midnight, it will be all Skrillex. There might be some special guests, who knows, but you’re getting a 5-hour solo Skrillex set.
