Music

First debuted just a couple weeks ago during GRiZ’s headline set at Electric Forest, “Feel No Pain” is a vibrant combination of GRiZ’s classic funk and dubstep influences. Riddled with groovy basslines and lush saxophone melodies, “Feel No Pain” is highlighted by the iconic “Trenchtown Rock” line “One good thing about music, when it hits you feel no pain.” Capturing the energetic essence of the dancefloor, “Feel No Pain” takes fans on an enchanting sonic journey.

Regarding the track, GRiZ said, “It’s a summertime dubby banger with some fun funky sax and a line from one of my favorite hip hop songs of all time, originally sampled by Bob Marley. Hopefully it inspires a feeling of easing the pain of all of the BS we’re going through as a country right now. Here’s a moment for you to dance and find some joy.”

2022 has seen the release of GRiZ’s imaginative collaboration with CloZee “Color Of Your Soul,” along with an appearance on Big Gigantic’s most recent album Brighter Future 2. This year will also host a number of GRiZ’s iconic curated events, including the return of ‘GRiZMAS In July’ and GRiZ’s first-ever outdoor event inclusive of a camping experience ‘Triple Rainbow.’

“Feel No Pain” marks GRiZ’s first solo release since his 2021 album Rainbow Brain. Listen below!
