Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh

Travelers headed to the Red Sea coast in Egypt have much to look forward to at the Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh, thanks to its recent multi-million-dollar expansion. Located on a stretch of private coastline, Arabian architecture and palm and bougainvillea-filled gardens create a fairytale backdrop for a desert meets the sea escape – less than ten minutes from Sharm El Sheik International Airport. A Red Sea favorite since opening twenty years ago, General Manager Sam Ioannidis says that the new accommodations, recreation facilities, and restaurants have introduced a new era of luxury to one of Egypt’s most loved and prestigious resorts.

A Beachfront Oasis & Palatial Escape

The resort gardens give way to a welcoming beachfront oasis where 115 brand-new guest rooms and suites enjoy exceptional Red Sea views – best enjoyed from the balcony or terrace while soaking up the year-round sun. The intimate two-story hideaways range from one and two bedrooms and some have private pools. Interior color palates are inspired by Sharm El Sheikh’s natural surroundings – think golden sands and blue waters – with authentic Arabian design elements and Arabesque details like arched windows and shades inspired by mashrabiya screens.

The resort’s most lavish accommodation is The Palace, a regal three-bedroom standalone residence designed to host royalty and international figures. The self-contained sanctuary features a private fitness and spa treatment room, dressing room, and office space spread over 6,100 square feet. Lush gardens, a terrace for entertaining and two swimming pools steps from a private beach complete the picture.

Scuba Dives & Sunset Sails

Thanks to year-round warm waters, crystal-clear visibility and incredible biodiversity, the resort’s house reef provides a spectacular introduction to the underwater wonders of the Red Sea. In addition, the resort’s brand-new dive center offers expert direction and certification courses to aspiring and experienced divers. Guests can also cruise the coastline on a private yacht charter, sailing the coast by day or heading out at sunset to spot dolphins.

Global Flavors

Helmed by Executive Chef Sebastiano Spriveri, a 27-year Four Seasons veteran, the resort provides multiple dining options. Think everything from a Bedouin breakfast on the beach and night-time feast with live music and belly dancers to signature restaurant Yatai, whose menu showcases classic Asian dishes and street food. For Lebanese and Arabic cuisine, head to Zitouni and for innovative Latin American flavors inspired by Mexico to Peru, the open-air poolside pavilion Luna is already a guest favorite.

Getting There & Away

The Government of Egypt has removed all COVID-19 entry restrictions. As a result, US travelers no longer need to complete a passenger locator form, provide proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test to enter Egypt. Major carriers operating flights from New York (JFK) and Los Angeles (LAX) to Sharm El Sheik International include EgyptAir, Turkish Airlines, and Lufthansa with respective layovers in Cairo, Istanbul, and Frankfurt.
