In a little over 14 years, Mike Nasty has earned his stamp as a curator of unique sounds and fashion through sneaker culture. Being well-versed in House, Hip Hop and R&B music has allowed him to move seamlessly across the international and domestic spectrum of night life. With the infusion of various scratch techniques and tasteful selections, Mike is able to rock the best of crowds with ease. Having rocked stages with the likes of The Neptunes, Chad Hugo, even collaborating on campaigns with Adidas it’s clear this artist is not afraid to push the boundaries of modern DJing and what it means to be a House Music artist.
Recently, he revealed a brand new EP, titled ‘Active‘, that showcases his talent in the studio as well as his signature ability to seamlessly blends numerous genres together. Whether it’s through the slick grooves of tracks like “Crazy Sexy Dirty” and “Breakthrough“, or more jazz infused songs like “Underground Flower” and “To The Beat“, it’s impossible not to fall in love with Mike Nasty’s immaculate creativity.
When asked about his EP, Mike says, “The sound is very soulful, sample filled house music with hard kicks. I focused on melodics and minimal vocals. I really want this project to make some noise and help me make an impact as a new DJ/Producer in the house music world.”
