The CW’s summer is set to be filled with superheroes, aliens, and even more Riverdale, as the company has set its schedule and officially given fans a timetable for when some of its biggest shows will be returning.

Some of the biggest news from the recent announcement is information on both Riverdale and Supergirl. While Riverdale usually opens up in the fall and proceeds through the new year, the COVID-19 pandemic has shifted releases for a variety of programs. Now, Riverdale will be returning on August 11, while Supergirl will return on August 24 for its final 13 episodes.

Elsewhere, Stargirl and Roswell, New Mexico will be making their season premieres, something fans have been anxiously awaiting for some time. CW’s In the Dark will also be coming back, with fans able to check out new episodes on June 23.
