Nitti Gritti & Dr. Fresch Team Up For Boisterous Collab, “Cold Day in Hell”

Music

It’s been well established that Nitti Gritti can produce damn near anything he sets his mind to, whether it’s psy, house, bass, or whatever. Teaming up with Dr. Fresch, the two sample “Twinz” by Big Pun for “Cold Day in Hell,” a sci-fi-influenced house tune that is sure to have you pondering the meaning of life while you cut shapes on the floor.

“Cold Day in Hell” is an interesting blend of some oscillating sci-fi arpeggios, classic hip hop bars, and devastatingly dirty future bass synths. It’s something that is both entirely on brand for this sort of collaboration and also surprising enough that we would never say, “Yeah, this is exactly what they’d make.”
