Watched at Home: Top Streaming Films for the Week of December 12

Holy Yellowstone, folks! After spending what felt like a dozen weeks in the Top 5, the Kevin Costner drama drifted downward for a time but has suddenly reemerged as this week’s top streaming option, according to The Digital Entertainment Group. Well, Season 3 that is. Though, Season 1 (No. 4) and Season 2 (No. 14) weren’t far behind.

Once again, holiday flicks dominated the chart with Universal’s Jim Carrey comedy Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch jumping all the way to No. 2 from No. 10 followed by Elf (No. 3), National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (No. 5), The Polar Express (No. 8), Home Alone (No. 9), A Christmas Story (No. 12) and Love Actually (No. 19).

Elsewhere, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy dropped from No. 1 to No. 7 … sigh. It was fun while it lasted. The Mel Gibson comedy-thriller Fatman held steady at No. 10.
