Sebastian Stan & Lily James cast in Tommy Lee/Pamela Anderson series

After leading a number of big screen projects over the past few years, Sebastian Stan (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) and Lily James (Baby Driver) are returning to the world of television for a new Hulu limited series in which they will star as rocker Tommy Lee and actress Pamela Anderson, according to Deadline.

The series, which is being penned by Rob Siegel under the working title Pam & Tommy, will tell the story of the tumultuous relationship between the Motley Crüe drummer/co-founder and former Baywatch star/model, including the notorious incident in which their honeymoon sex tape was stolen and subsequently leaked to the public. Though it will be included, the story will not focus on the scandal but rather explore their relationship going back to their marriage after only 96 hours of having known each other.

In addition to Stan and James, the cast for the series will include Seth Rogen (An American Pickle, This is the End) as the man who stole the couple’s sex tape and sold it off. Rogen will also produce the project with his Point Grey partner Evan Goldberg through their banner alongside Dylan Sellers via Limelight, Dave Franco and Sue Naele and Megan Ellison at Annapurna. Sources report that Rogen and Goldberg’s Point Grey are the ones spearheading the project and brought it forward to the streaming platform.

While sources also report that the real people at the center of the story are not involved with the series, they are aware of it and its development since earlier this year when the Baby Driver star entered talks to portray Anderson in the series.
