Get a head start on spring 2021.

Fashion month has concluded and although this season looked a lot different than those before, it still gave us our fix of fantasy to keep us dreaming all winter (and pandemic) long. Fashion trends for Spring 2021 managed to embrace our new lifestyle all while pushing us out of any at-home style ruts. With soft fabrics and lounge-inspired pieces we can up our game while working from home and use bold prints and colours to stand out from the Zoom call crowd. We’ve rounded up some key takeaways to give you a head start on spring 2021 shopping – here are our top five trends from this season’s fashion month:

Bra Tops

While many of us may not be wearing bras in our WFH routine, Spring says we’ll be showing them off. Maybe some time apart is just what we need to value these undergarments and give them the spotlight.

Netting

Open knits and weaves add some sport to otherwise sleek silhouettes. The geometric netting is our solution to airy texture without any bulk.

Head-to-Toe Print

Playful prints give a lot to look at with pattern covering everything from the toes up. From sweet florals to polkadots and vertical stripes, these prints have you covered.

Utility

Phone, mask and sanitizer are the new lipstick, keys and credit card so a fashionable look with loads of pockets is a no brainer for storing all your quarantine accessories.

Stylish Sweats

From stilettos to sweats, the runways are embracing the comforts of cozy dressing by incorporating pieces like the hooded sweatshirt. While matching sets are still encouraged, the Spring/Summer 2021 runways are showing us that the hoodie has a place outside the home. Take a cue from N°21 and dress up your favourite oversized sweater with a fancy  feathered skirt.
