U.S. airlines see best weekend for passenger levels since mid-March

For the first time since early March, 958,000 passengers flew during a single day as Labor Day weekend delivered a much needed shot in the arm for the beleaguered airline industry. With Covid-19 cases moderating in some states, more states and cities increasing re-opening plans and more Americans going back to work, airlines are expected to do well for the long Labor Day holiday weekend.
