Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs trailer starring Chloë Grace Moretz

Lionsgate has released the official trailer for the upcoming U.S. debut of South Korean directors Hong Sung-ho and Jang Moo-Hyun’s animated fantasy film titled Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs, which gives a new twists on iconic German fairy tales such as Snow White and The Red Shoes. Featuring the voices of Chloë Grace Moretz and Sam Claflin, the film will be having its U.S. digital release on Friday, September 18 and will also be arriving on Blu-ray and DVD on September 22. This outrageous fairy tale spoof starts as Snow White steals a pair of red shoes that transform her into a princess. Meanwhile, a witch’s curse turns seven brave princes into dwarfs, forcing them to seek out the princess, hoping for a kiss to break their spell. Together, they must face Snow White’s wicked stepmother – who will stop at nothing to get her precious shoes back – and, along the way, learn that true beauty lies within!

The voice cast of Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarf includes Moretz (The Addams Family) as Snow White, Sam Claflin (Hunger Games films) as Merlin, Gina Gershon (Riverdale) as Regina, Patrick Warburton (Family Guy, Emperor’s New Groove) as Magic Mirror and Jim Rash (Community) as Prince Average. It will also feature Simon Kassianides, Frederik Hamel, Nolan North, Frank Todaro, Ava Kolker, Asher Blinkoff and Juju Journey Brener.

The film is directed by Hong Sung-ho and Jang Moo-Hyun from a script Hong co-wrote with Ahn Woong-Sub. It had already been released last year in South Korea and Germany.
