With the same aggression heard on YØUNGBLØØD & BLOSSO’s 2020 collaboration “Throw It Down,” the producer shatters every expectation of a followup with “Playboy.” Classic trap elements lay down the foundation — heavy 808 action, crisp percussion, signature chants, and a deep vocal hook — and through all those fundamentals, YØUNGBLØØD still manages to craft a production all his own.
It’s just the beginning for Alex Jongbloed, better known as YØUNGBLØØD, as he establishes himself through his “designer bass” sound. Track by track, he’s turning heads with his raw talent and we expect “Playboy” to give him a well-deserved boost beyond the underground.
