Quibi unveils NSFW trailer for Anna Kendrick-led Dummy
To keep audiences interested in the adult comedy on the fresh streaming platform, Quibi has unveiled a NSFW trailer for the Anna Kendrick-starring series Dummy in which she befriends a sentient sex doll. The trailer can be viewed in the player below!

Directed by Tricia Brock (The Walking Dead, 30 Rock, Into the Badlands), Dummy follows Cody (Kendrick), an aspiring-but-blocked writer who happens upon her boyfriend’s (Logue) sex doll. Things take a turn when the latex Barbara (voiced by Meredith Hagner) starts talking to Cody, offering words of wisdom like, “I got news for you, babe — we’re all sex dolls until we topple the patriarchy.”
On the verge of a breakdown, Cody is urged by her therapist to embrace Barbara, and the odd couple soon takes off on a road trip.
The series comes from indie studio wiip and Cody Heller (Deadbeat, Wilfred), who was inspired by her relationship with fiancé Dan Harmon (Rick & Morty, Community). Brock executive produces with Heller and Kendrick.
