Acute staffing shortages among TSA agents are leading to longer wait times for security screenings at airports across the U.S. as the partial government shutdown approaches the one-month mark. 

Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport said Sunday that customers should arrive at least four hours before their scheduled departure time to accommodate the lengthy wait times. On Monday, the airport had wait times of three hours, according to local news outlets.
