
The Leela Hotels and Resorts has signed a management contract for an 80-key hotel in Jaisalmer. The hotel is set to become operational in 2027. The addition will create what The Leela calls a “four-property circuit” in Rajasthan, which includes its hotels in Jaipur, Udaipur and Ranthambore.
With this, the hotel company has added three luxury hotels to its portfolio since its IPO last May – Mumbai BKC, Dubai, and Jaisalmer.
In its earnings call for the October-December quarter, CEO Anuraag Bhatnagar said the hotel is ready-built but is being enhanced to “make it an absolute luxury Leela and complete a Rajasthan circuit and strengthen it further.”
“We are expecting the work to be completed by the end of the year,” he said.
