Single Review “My Heart” Performed by Irene Michael’s Ft. Joe Smooth
Music

This EDM/House Mix Fusion “My Heart” by singer Irene Michaels touches my brain and quest for unique music rather than my heart. While it’s soulful, I can’t help thinking about when Billie Eilish first came on the scene. She was new, refreshing and entertaining in a strange but exciting way….Same for Michaels.

Her voice is not the usual, her spark is definitely there and the mix by the legendary Joe Smooth is catchy and upbeat in the midst of the indecision Michaels sings about. The song follows her award-winning house music hit “I Like Rain” which received some notable attention, however “My Heart” is even different than that. It’s smooth, sexy, and out there. It has commercial value and is adorned by the EDM vibe.

There is yet another interesting facet to the story.. Irene Michaels is 79 years old but looks better than Ellish. She’s had several decades in the entertainment industry including a role on the famous “General Hospital” soap opera and has appeared in Home Alone 2, Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Mahogany and more. When she turned her attention to House music, she seemed to have reinvented or started a whole new career.

The lyric video of “My Heart” will be premiering on The Jimmy Star Show With Ron Russell on December 4, 2024, but in the meantime it is available on all digital platforms worldwide…
