Twelve years after Wizards of Waverly Place ended, the Big Apple has a new wizard in town.

Sequel series Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is now streaming on Disney+, 17 years after the original teen fantasy show that launched the careers of Selena Gomez, David Henrie and Jake T. Austin. The spinoff sitcom stars Janice LeAnn Brown as Billie, a young and powerful wizard who requires training. She finds the now-grown-up Justin Russo (reprised by Henrie), who had given up his wizarding life to live free of magic with his wife and two sons on Staten Island.

Wizards of Waverly Place ran for four seasons from 2006 to 2012 and spawned a film and a TV special; all are available to stream on Disney+.
