Available on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 7 a.m. PT/10 p.m. ET, the new Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG sneakers ($180) come in a midnight black and silver colorway and are instantly recognizable with their classic silhouette and style — and they’re perfect for casual wear or at the office.
Designed with premium leather, the kicks are lightweight with solid rubber outsoles for durability, traction and bounce. Nike’s iconic stitched-down Swoosh logo comes in metallic gray to match its midsole with a black tip and mudguard to catch eyes on the court or streets. And as a throwback to the ’80s, the shoes even have the original Air Jordan logo on the outer collars.

The Air Jordans first stepped onto the shoe scene on April 1, 1985, during the basketball icon’s run with the Chicago Bulls. Its game-changing debut was immortalized in Air, the Golden Globes-nominated film starring Ben Affleck as Nike co-founder Philip Knight and Matt Damon as sports marketing executive Sony Vaccaro.
