Mingyu’s year of fashion continues with a new Calvin Klein campaign.

The 27-year-old K-pop rapper, a member of supergroup Seventeen, is the star of a new Fall 2024 Calvin Klein campaign. The iconic brand released the campaign Friday, flooding social media with photos and videos of Mingyu decked out in Calvin Klein denim.

The newly released campaign is meant to highlight the musician’s “distinctive style,” according to a release, while allowing his personality and “playful energy” to shine through.

Videos and photos from the campaign show Mingyu in a variety of jean-focused looks, introducing new denim cuts and washes for the brand that are paired with classic logo tees, mixed-wash denim layers and lightweight outerwear.

The K-pop star was featured in several denim looks including ensembles centered around the brand’s 90s straight jeans, styled in several ways: with the brand’s signature trucker jacket and cotton trunks, a relaxed fit logo crookneck t-shirt and a logo t-shirt layered under a bomber jacket.

The Calvin Klein campaign is the latest in a string of fashion-related news for the performance. The 27-year-old K-pop star has had a growing presence in the world of luxury fashion and beauty over the last year. Last week, Mingyu was announced as the latest Dior ambassador, with the brand referring to the rapper as an “international man of style” and “the perfect embodiment of Dior’s aesthetic.” He also recently starred in a L’Occitane spot in Asia.

Mingyu and the rest of Seventeen, the 13-member K-pop group hailing from Hybe sub-label Pledis Entertainment, are preparing to head out on a new U.S. tour this fall, with the exception of members Jeonghan and Jun, who will be completing mandatory military service and pursuing acting opportunities in China, respectively. The “Seventeen [Right Here] World Tour” includes stops at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles and Bay Area venue the Oakland Arena. The tour is tied to a new EP from the group, expected to drop in October.
