Virgin Hotels, the luxury lifestyle hospitality brand by Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Group, operates eight hotels, six in the United States and two in the United Kingdom, including the soon to open Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch. Inspired by the innovation and smart disruption that Sir Richard Branson’s global Virgin Group has pioneered for over 50 years, the hotel group offers a special penthouse suite in each property called Richard’s Flat. These suites garnered the nomenclature as they are the suites where Sir Richard Branson stays when he is in town, featuring one-of-a-kind artwork and are equipped with the brand’s iconic bed (The Patented Lounge Bed aka Best Bed Ever – #BBE) along with other luxurious appointments throughout. From New Orleans to Dallas, Nashville to Chicago, New York to Edinburgh and London, we got a tour of each Flat, each inherently telling their own story of Virgin’s interpretation of the city.
