SohoJohnny Announces Honoree Composer Randy Edelman at Career Bridges Event at The Metropolitan Club in NYC May 7, 2024

Tribeca Records label President John Pasquale lovingly known as SohoJohnny, was chosen by the prestigious organization Career Bridges headed by David Schuyler Bender and beautiful wife Barbara to announce the performance of Lifetime Achievement Award recipient composer Randy Edelman. The prestigious Gala took place on May 7, 2024 at the historic Metropolitan Club in Manhattan.

Career Bridges mission is to help young opera singers launch their careers. Many extraordinary, gifted young operatic singers complete their formal training, but are not yet fully prepared for a career as there is a lack of good training in many areas, lack of funds for further study, and limited performance options. Opportunities have stymied many of these extremely qualified singers in their pursuit of their careers. Career Bridges provides grants for coaching voice, diction, language, repertory, and stage presence.

The evenings extravaganza was a celebration of the organization’s Twentieth Year Anniversary and was filled with glamour, entertainment, friendship, and love. SohoJohnny adorned in a sky blue tuxedo took the podium and gracefully brought composer and film scorer of over 100 films and television soundtracks to the stage. Edelman is one of Tribeca’s signed artists and is responsible for creating songs that the most illustrious artists have covered and recorded, including Barry Manilow, Dionne Warwick, Olivia, Newton-John, Nelly, Patti LaBelle, The Carpenters and a parade of others.

SohoJohnny is also the founder of Let Me Help, Inc foundation and organization, helping others less fortunate through music and song, and the Co-Founder and co-owner of Pep Real Estate, offering the largest pop-up commercial space in New York’s illustrious SoHo area. SohoJohnny is also an event producer, actor, executive movie producer, and an innovative entrepreneur.
