Boombox Drops Infectious Single “Buenas Noches” + Reveals Nationwide Tour & New Album

Music

Founded in in 2004 by singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Zion Rock Godchaux, BoomBox has grown and evolved alongside loyal fans across the globe. They’ve developed a signature groove rooted in a back-beat driven style, wrapped around smooth vocals, compelling lyrics, and a mixture of drum machine and live-mixed computer beats laid down by Kinsman MacKay, Godchaux’s brother. Their songs pull from a wide range of genres – from hip hop to funk and a healthy dose of electronic that has shaped their sound and created a space for these guys on numerous festivals.

Recently, the boys released a brand new single “Buenas Noches” which arrived in tandem not only with a new album announcement – Dangerous Waters out Nov 10 – but also a massive nationwide tour. It’s fascinating to hear the studio result and then see these guys deliver it in impeccible fashion on the stage, which is why we recommend securing a ticket if they come to a city near you.

Speaking to this single, Boombox yet again strikes gold here, perfectly meshing hypnotic synth melodies amidst a driving hip hop beat and spacey vocals. BoomBox adds:
“‘Buenas Noches’ is one of our favorite tracks on this album. It really showcases the complimentary approach we have to making music.”
