Earlier this week, RL Grime wiped his Instagram. For those that have seen this tactic time and again, it’s pretty easy to infer that a new album is coming and thus we can assume that the new single “Pour Your Heart Out” with 070 Shake, released today, is the first single from the forthcoming project.
RL Grime has released two albums previously, 2014’s debut VOID featuring hits like “Core” and “Scylla” and 2018’s NOVA that took his trap sound and expanded it with a more melodic twist, featuring artists like Miguel, Jeremih & Tory Lanez, Chief Keef, Ty Dolla $ign, and more.
Since 2018’s NOVA, RL has only released a handful of singles, including “Fallaway” with Baauer and “Stinger” with ISOxo. It’s safe to say that we’re going to be hearing a lot more before the year is out with a full album release likely ahead of 2024.
