In a plot straight from a Cohen Brothers’ movie—think “high stakes/low IQ”—a former romance novel cover model has been sentenced to 36 months in prison for his violent role in the January 6 Capitol Insurrection.

Logan James Barnhart, whose chest has graced the covers of such classics as Stepbrother UnSEALed: A Bad Boy Military Romance, will spend three years in prison for dragging a police officer down the Capitol steps and into a violent mob. A seemingly repentant Barnhart told the judge: “The way I was acting seems so foreign to me.”

Indeed.

The sad truth of this is that Barnhart’s conviction could very well lead to a lucrative career in the noxious right wing grievance industrial complex, most likely as some kind of jailhouse fitness influencer.

This timeline sucks.
