Developer Terravision Games recently shared a render of Rudy, one of the Killer Klowns, on the game’s official Twitter account. Similar to how he looks like in the film, Rudy is not the most aesthetically pleasing to look at, but sports many popular clown features, including an oversized outfit, painted face, and bright red hair.

While originally unnamed in the movie, the Klowns themselves have become horror icons over the years, and have taken on bigger identities thanks to fans and the creators of film, the Chiodo brothers. While it’s unclear just how many of the Klowns will appear in the game, promotional art and its teaser trailer from August tease that there will be a wide variety of them.

The game itself is also a bit of mystery, but it will be an asymmetrical multiplayer game that will pit seven humans against three Klowns in matches across randomly generated maps. It is set to release next year in early 2023, for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
