Box Office Results: Bullet Train Holds Well in Sophomore Frame

Film

The Brad Pitt action vehicle Bullet Train enjoyed a softer-than-expected drop of just 55% in its second weekend and earned another $13.4 million at the domestic box office. The film has taken in $54.4 million so far stateside. Internationally, the David Leitch-helmed feature has accrued $60 million, bringing its worldwide cume to $114.5 million, per Deadline. That’s nothing to write home about (but still a decent-sized success for the $90 million production). In fact, the $13.4 million weekend total marks the lowest-grossing weekend this summer, the last being the $16 million opening of Downton Abbey: A New Era in May. Summer’s officially over, folks.
