Over the weekend—via a tweet from artist Amber Blade Jones, because the garbage bird website has its bright spots—I discovered Not/But, a comic strip that speaks directly to my self-defeating writer soul. Not/But is a series created by illustrator and comics artist Tonči Zonjić; it originally ran weekly between 2016 and 2017, but it’s safe to say it’s pretty timeless. The rest is self-explanatory, but suffice it to say that if you’re a writer, artist, or creative of any kind, you’ll probably find some good advice within. Below are a couple favorites; but you can read them all here.
