ComingSoon is excited to debut the Baby Money trailer for Blue Fox Entertainment and Playthink Entertainment’s crime thriller. Mikhael Bassilli and Luc Walpoth direct the film off a script written by Bassilli and MJ Palo. The movie stars Danay Garcia (Fear the Walking Dead), Michael Drayer (Mr. Robot), Taja V. Simpson (The Oval), Travis Hammer (Godless), and Joey Kern (Super Troopers), and releases via video on demand on August 31, 2021.

“With little money, an eviction notice, and a baby on the way, Minny and Gil agree to be the ‘lookout’ and ‘getaway driver’ in a suburban robbery in hopes of scoring a mysterious purple box,” reads the official synopsis. “When things don’t go as planned, pregnant Minny runs leaving Gil behind in hiding… now, they need to plan an escape in time for a major cash out.”

Baby Money is set to be screened at the Fantasia Film Festival prior to its VOD release. Producers on the film are Bassilli, Luc Walpoth, and Nick Zuvic.
