Saber Interactive has finally unveiled some Evil Dead: The Game gameplay after announcing the multiplayer title in December 2020 at the Game Awards. This peek showed glimpses of the combat, which seems to be a hybrid of third-person melee and third-person shooting. The game is slated for 2021. Multiple characters were shown shooting, clubbing, and stabbing.

Evil Dead: The Game is a multiplayer-focused title with co-op and competitive modes where players can play as humans or Deadites. Not much else is currently known about the game, but it is set to maps from the franchise, “physics-based gore” and “over 25 weapons.” It’s set to come out for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. The game has some star talent behind it, too, as Bruce Campbell reprises his iconic role as Ash and Dana DeLorenzo and Ray Santiago appear from the television show Ash vs. Evil Dead. Other iconic characters, like Lord Arthur, will also appear, too.
