Based in Los Angeles, Australian producer and DJ Rod Dawson, known within the bass community as Volt, has been making his name in the American bass scene with no signs of slowing down. We last heard from him from his epic remix to Lil Baby’s “Trap” and anticipation has been building for his next release.
It’s arrived in perfect time, this time collaborating with none other than YDG, for a thunderous new single “Evil Dead“, out on Kannibalen Records. This song provides an eerie, dark vibe staying true to its name.
Taking their two uniquely different styles and fusing them together to create this wobbly infused trap track budded a new, deadly sound of its own. You can hear signature sound design techniques from both Volt & YDG through the entire track. It’s sheer perfection and without a doubt a true smash.
