Culture, Film, Music

The Electric-Fiesta team is amping up for an incredible week of COVID-Safe Drive-IN activities, marking a historic moment in 2020’s history.

The week-long programming for ‘Electric-Fiesta Week(ender)’ is officially set to take place in San Antonio, Texas from October 28 to November 1, 2020 at the Freeman Coliseum Grounds Lot 1. The enormous success of San Antonio’s first multi day socially distanced drive-in event (EDM Drive-In, this past June) was felt around the country, and now the team at Electric-Fiesta has announced The Electric-Fiesta Drive-In Week(ender) just in time for Halloween fun.

Electric-Fiesta Co-Founder Miguel Lizarraga had this to say about the upcoming event “This Pandemic has really affected the whole World in more ways than any one of us could ever imagine. Our big goal is to give people something to talk about, something to look forward to and plan for. We are giving them a new type of immersive experience so it’s not just a watered-down version of a normal show, but rather something unique that might not happen again when life goes back to normal. When we were booking acts we wanted to make sure we could surprise and excite people, but also stir up some curiosity to explore other artists they hadn’t seen perform before.”

EMPHASIS ON SAFETY – Since the first EDM Drive-in, the team has made it a first priority to take safety very seriously, and the team will continue to follow the strict guidelines for best safety practices implemented by the World Health Organization (WHO). In addition, the team is working closely with the Freeman Coliseum and local officials to ensure ALL fans are as safe as possible. Complimentary Masks will be made available for all attendees of Electric-Fiesta.

This unique week of events will be a first for San Antonio, and the team cannot wait to bring joy, laughter and music into everyone’s lives with this history-making week of events in San Antonio.

Attending vehicles will Drive-Thru a themed “haunted tunnel” entrance for all the below events, and attendees can experience every show with 5 MASSIVE LED screens visible from all parts of the venue. A working FM radio is required for maximum fun, and all events are all rain or shine.
