With its sun-kissed beaches, charming surf towns and majestic Sierra Madre mountain backdrop, Riviera Nayarit is is a picture-perfect location for Hilton’s first Conrad-branded resort property in Mexico. Slated to open on September 1, Conrad Punta de Mita promises a tranquil tropical retreat-style getaway along one of the country’s most scenic stretches of coastline.

Hola! Conrad

In September a selection of the resort’s 324 ocean-facing guest rooms and suites will be available for booking, offering a full-service resort experience with the volume of a boutique hotel. In celebration of the opening, travelers who book four nights or more can opt for the special Hola Conrad Package (from $349 per night) which includes luxury round trip airport transfers, and $100 resort credit, among other perks.

A Tranquil Retreat

Drawing inspiration from Mexican culture, SB Architects integrated Huichol sacred symbolism and decorative indigenous artwork throughout. Décor is modern coastal chic. All guest rooms enjoy Pacific Ocean views while the oceanfront suites and villa ‘Casas’ boast large patios, plunge pools, freestanding soaking tubs, and outdoor showers.

The seamless transition between interior and exterior spaces makes a relaxed guest experience. Lushly landscaped grounds are home to three swimming pools, while the 10,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor Conrad SPA features a traditional Temazcal steam bath and seven ‘cocoon’ treatment cabanas connected by a tunnel of tropical plants and flowers. There’s a two-mile stretch of beach, plus access to the adjacent 18-hole Litibu Golf Course designed by Greg Norman.

Regional Cuisine

There are four restaurants and three bars dotted across the property, including lobby cocktail bar, Tuki, whose name borrows from the Huichol word for ‘temple,’ and an intimate mezcal and tequila barrel tasting room. A highlight though is CODEX. Set in a secluded beachfront location it’s slated to debut later this fall and will specialize in traditional Mexican fare made with local ingredients, including a seasonal Full Moon Experience whose menu is curated in accordance with the moon phase.
