Andrew Weissmann, who served as a prosecutor for Robert Mueller during an investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election, is releasing a book this fall—and says it will include details on the investigation’s “mistakes.”
Random House will publish Where Law Ends: Inside the Mueller Investigation on Sept. 29. Weissmann said in a statement to the Associated Press that the book will recount the two-year investigation “as seen and experienced by an insider.” The team did not find that Donald Trump’s campaign had colluded with Russia and did not conclude whether or not the president had committed obstruction of justice.
“I am deeply proud of the work we did and of the unprecedented number of people we indicted and convicted—and in record speed,” Weissmann said. “But the hard truth is that we made mistakes. We could have done more. Where Law Ends documents the choices we made, good and bad, for all to see and judge and learn from.”
