Oliver Heldens Throws Down Live Set for F1 Season Opening w/ Plenty of IDs

Music

On July 4th, the Formula 1 Season Opening went down — and Oliver Heldens provided the soundtrack for the Dutch Grand Prix.

Like other F1 events, the Dutch Grand Prix taps into the dance world at every opportunity. In fact, the Ultimate Race Festival was set to go down this year, before coronavirus (COVID-19) hit. The lineup would have featured Sam Feldt, Lucas & Steve, Kriss Kross and more. Instead, fans were able to enjoy a Don Diablo set from home given the circumstances.

Fast forward to this weekend and Oliver Helden’s takes the stage, live from Circuit Zandvoort to celebrate the Formula 1 Season Opening with Heineken. Locked and loaded with plenty of Oliver Heldens and HI-LO IDs, the producer drops only originals into his lively set. The energy of the set is even more apparent when contrasted with the almost off-putting emptiness of the raceway and complete absence of a crowd in front of the massive stage.
