Taking to Instagram, concept designer Phil Saunders shared various concept art of his from the scene of Vision’s robotic body being dissected. The art depicts the first pass-through that Saunders made on the art, with his goal being “to humanize” Vision as much as possible, which is why he chose a more traditional-looking autopsy scene.

The new art comes from Marvel’s WandaVision: The Art of the Series book, which is out now and available to pick up if you’re interested in seeing any other art from the critically acclaimed series.

WandaVision premiered in January 2021 and followed the story of Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany’s superhero characters Scarlet Witch and Vision. The series blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems. Alongside Olsen and Paul Bettany, the show featured Debra Jo Rupp, Kathryn Hahn, Teyonah Parris, Randall Park, and Kat Dennings.
